Q: What should we wear for our session?
A: I have a gallery of options from our Client Closet and will chat on the phone/text/FB/email with you to discuss options for your hubby and kids if they are participating so we have an awesome cohesive look.
Q: Do you have props?
A: I do but I’m not focused on a ton of props for your session. For maternity, we have floral stems, hats and jewelry and I may bring a blanket for outdoor sessions if the ground is soggy but generally don’t like to use a lot of props during these sessions. For newborns/milestones, you can select props for 2 posed setups (bowls/bed) and I suggest bringing out fun family items to incorporate as well (such as: favorite stuffy, heirloom blankets or booties, wedding dress or veil, rings, etc)
Q: Where will we take our photos?
A: Our home studio is located in Lovettsville, VA in beautiful Western Loudoun County. We also have just under 7 acres of property where we can step outside the studio and get fields, wildflowers and a creek depending on the season.
Q: Is your client closet only available for maternity sessions?
A: Absolutely not! You can borrow any of the pieces for your newborn or family session as well as maternity! Don’t want to buy a dress for your fall family session? I’ve got you covered! Want something flattering and comfy for your newborn session? I’ve got you there too! Want to feel fabulous and beautiful during your maternity session? I’ve got something for everyone!
Q: When will I receive my images?
A: I like to post a preview on FB or IG between 1 and 2 days after your session and your gallery will be delivered within 2.5-3 weeks. (But I do strive to get them to you sooner!)
Q: Do you have a travel fee?
Pricing includes sessions at our home studio and property in Loudoun County. At this time, we do not travel to outside locations unless explicitly mentioned in booking details.
